The Bulgarian Music Association (BMA) represents and protects the interests of professional music performers in Bulgaria. We provide our members with a representative structure that unites them and expresses their position nationally and internationally. Our mission is to promote their professional development by offering information, new qualification opportunities and platforms for the exchange of experience in Bulgaria and beyond.

The Bulgarian Music Association was created with the aim of professional musicians of all genres having their own representative organization that unites them, expresses their position and defends them on issues related to their work, in national and international projects and in the event of changes in the legislation in our country . The association works to restore the prestige of Bulgarian culture and the profession of a musical artist – performer.
Stage Map | BG is the result of the two-year project for wide-ranging mapping of the music sector in the country, which the BMA launched in 2020 as part of its sectoral initiatives. The aim of the project is to improve information provision and support the development of effective cultural policies and financing mechanisms.
The application is open to all stage spaces in Bulgaria, offering easy and quick access to an extensive array of data. This enables artists-performers to plan their activities without wasting time on additional research, making the process more efficient and easy.
We believe that this product will be of great benefit not only to the music sector, but also to all other performing arts, helping to facilitate their integration and development in the cultural scene of Bulgaria.
