Members
Membership in the Bulgarian Music Association enables musicians-performers to receive protection in cases related to their work, representation in national and international projects, as well as lobbying for changes in legislation.
BMA members get access to a monthly newsletter and Viber channel, through which they learn in a timely manner about the various opportunities for:
- Applying for funding
- Training opportunities
- Applying to showcases
- Participation in international exhibitions
- Inclusion in BMA catalogs at international exhibitions where the organization hosts national stands
An additional opportunity for BMA regular members is their inclusion in #MyMusic – a section where they can present their current projects.
STEP 1
Before making a payment, check your status in the Association using the link to verify membership. To receive the necessary information, fill in the e-mail field, mark your agreement with the Terms of Use and the Articles of Association of the Bulgarian Music Association and press the “Next” button. Use the email that is indicated for contact in your application and which is saved as information in the Association’s register to contact you.
STEP 2
If the system shows that you owe membership fees for the current and/or previous years, and you want to make the payment online, press the “Payment” button next to the corresponding year for which you want to pay.
STEP 3
You can choose the way you want to pay your membership fee for the current year online from the following displayed options:
- Through the PayPal system. In order to make the payment, you need to have a personal account. If you choose this tool, the annual membership fee is 6 (six) euros;
- Directly in the ePay.bg system through your personal account in it;
- By bank transfer to the account of the Bulgarian Music Association with Post Bank: IBAN: BG17BPBI79401074930501 – Post Bank (as grounds for payment you must specify the years for which you are paying);
- On site at the BMA office at the address: Sofia 1000, 70, Gen. Gurko Str., floor 3, apt 9, after prior arrangement on business phone number 0878739555 or members@bgma.bg.

We remind our current and future members that according to the current Articles of Association of the BMA
The obligations of the members of the Association are:
Art.16. (1). (Amended – Decision of the General Assembly dated 21.05.2014) The members of the Association are obliged to:
- (Amended – Decision of the General Assembly dated 21.05.2014) to comply with the Articles of Association of the Association;
- (Amended – Decision of the General Assembly dated 21.05.2014, supplemented by Decision of the General Assembly dated 22.05.2017) to pay annually in one installment at the cash register of the Association, by bank transfer or by making an online payment the membership fee determined by the GA. The deadline for paying the membership fee is until the 20th of the first month of the current year or within 10 days after the acceptance of a new member.
(2). (Supplemented – Decision of the GA dated 21.05.2014, supplemented by Decision of the GA dated 22.05.2017) In case of non-payment of the membership fee for a period of one year, the relevant member of the Association may lose his right to vote in the General Assembly. This fact is certified by a decision of the Executive Board.
Termination of membership (Amended by Decision of the GA dated 13.09.2018)
Art18.(1). The membership in the Association is terminated:
- (New be Decision of GA dated 22.05.2017) in case of non-payment of membership fees for a period of 3 (three) consecutive years. The termination of the membership under this point is done by a decision of the Executive Board.
