First Bulgarian showcase at MMB2025 in Bucharest!

The Bulgarian Music Association took part in Mastering The Music Business (MMB2025) – the largest international music business conference and showcase festival in Romania. As part of the official showcase program, we presented Pistamashina – the only Bulgarian project in this year’s selection.

Their participation provided an opportunity for broad international visibility, new professional connections, and a first step within BMA’s strategic project “Export and Sustainable Positioning of the Bulgarian Music Scene on the International Market.”

Through its presence at MMB2025, BMA continues its mission to support Bulgarian artists and to establish Bulgaria as an active and competitive participant in the international music scene.

The project is funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU instrument, Export and Sustainable Positioning of the Bulgarian Music Scene on the International Market.

Stage Map | BG is the result of the two-year project for wide-ranging mapping of the music sector in the country, which the BMA launched in 2020 as part of its sectoral initiatives. The aim of the project is to improve information provision and support the development of effective cultural policies and financing mechanisms.

The application is open to all stage spaces in Bulgaria, offering easy and quick access to an extensive array of data. This enables artists-performers to plan their activities without wasting time on additional research, making the process more efficient and easy.

We believe that this product will be of great benefit not only to the music sector, but also to all other performing arts, helping to facilitate their integration and development in the cultural scene of Bulgaria.
