Between October 29 and 31, the Bulgarian Music Association (BMA) took part in the Budapest Showcase Hub (BUSH) – one of the most significant events for new music and professional contacts in the Central and Eastern European region.
As part of the event, the BMA organized a special reception “Essence of BUSH: A Drinks & Bites Reception”, which took place on October 30 at Akvárium Klub – Bistro and brought together representatives of international music organizations, festivals, clubs and artist managers. The reception was a place to share experiences, ideas and create new partnerships between Bulgarian and European professionals.
A strong Bulgarian presence also marked the official showcase program of BUSH, in which two Bulgarian projects participated, LVA at Akvárium Klub – Lokal and Arika Adams at Refresher Szinpad, Akvárium Klub Kishall.
Both concerts attracted the interest of the international audience and the professional community, presenting fresh and different faces from the contemporary Bulgarian music scene.
The participation of the Bulgarian Music Association and Bulgarian artists in BUSH 2025 is part of the strategic project “Export and sustainable positioning of the Bulgarian music scene on the international market”, implemented and financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU instrument.
Budapest Showcase Hub continues to strengthen its position as a key platform for regional exchange, creating opportunities for artistic and professional collaborations within the European music industry – and the presence of the BMA and the Bulgarian participants is another important step towards a stronger and sustainable international presence on our scene.
