The Bulgarian Music Association was an official partner of the third edition of the SoAlive Music Conference – one of the most significant music events in the region.
At the official opening, Mirena Staneva, Executive Director of the BMA, presented the association in front of over 600 delegates and professionals from the international music scene.

Ruth Koleva presented the results of the SoAlive Music Conference and Flat Line Collective study, entitled Geographical Underrepresentation and Diversity within the EU Music Ecosystem, which highlights the detrimental artistic, cultural and financial consequences of the neglect of artists from Southeastern Europe and explores why such a vast, populated and culturally rich area is almost invisible on the European music map.а.

Within the framework of the conference, for the second consecutive year, Speed Meetings for artists were held with the support of the BMA – a dynamic format that brought together artists, managers, producers and industry representatives for targeted meetings, exchange of ideas and new partnerships.
We thank SoAlive Music Conference for the inspiring cooperation and the opportunity to support the development of the Bulgarian music scene in an international context!
